This policy explains how TaskNext LLC handles information associated with the TaskNext app, tasknext.co, and our support communications.
Information in the TaskNext app
TaskNext stores the tasks, assets, maintenance history, mileage, categories, templates, and related information you enter locally on your device. You decide what information to enter, including any details about people or pets.
TaskNext does not currently provide a developer-hosted account or cloud-sync service for these records. TaskNext LLC does not receive your locally stored records automatically.
Notifications, exports, and device backups
If you allow notifications, TaskNext schedules local reminders through iOS. You can change notification permissions in your device settings.
If you export records or share reports, the information you choose to include is provided to the destination you select. Those files may contain personal information. Their handling depends on your chosen storage location, recipient, or service.
Depending on your device settings, app data may be included in backups managed by Apple or other services you use. These backups are separate from a TaskNext-operated cloud service.
Website information
Namecheap provides our website and email hosting. When you visit tasknext.co, hosting and security systems may process technical information such as your IP address, browser information, requested pages, timestamps, and error information to deliver the website, maintain security, and troubleshoot problems.
We have not configured Google Analytics for this website and have removed the preinstalled MonsterInsights analytics plugin.
Cookies and consent preferences
Our website uses CookieAdmin to manage cookie preferences. The cookie named cookieadmin_consent remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies. It may remain after rejection so the website can remember your choice.
You can reopen the cookie preference control on the website to change your choices. You can also remove cookies through your browser settings; doing so may cause the website to ask for your preferences again.
CookieAdmin may also maintain consent records in our WordPress database, including a consent identifier, choices, and associated technical information. The categories displayed in the cookie banner do not, by themselves, mean that we use cookies in every category.
When you contact us
If you email support@tasknext.co, we receive your email address, any name included with your message, its contents, and any attachments you send. We use this information to respond, investigate issues, and manage related support requests.
Please send only information relevant to your question. Remove personal or sensitive details from screenshots where possible, and do not send passwords or payment details.
Service providers and disclosures
Information associated with website operation and support may be processed by providers supporting our hosting, email, security, and backups. Namecheap’s practices are described in its Privacy Policy.
We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising. We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect our services, investigate abuse, or protect legal rights.
Retention and deletion
Your local app records remain on your device until you delete them or remove the app and its local data. Offloading the app may retain its data. Separately saved exports, shared reports, and device backups must be managed through their respective storage locations or services.
We retain support correspondence and operational records for as long as reasonably necessary for their purpose, including resolving requests, maintaining security, and meeting applicable legal obligations. Backup copies may remain until replaced or removed through the applicable backup process.
Your choices and requests
You can edit or delete information within TaskNext, change notification permissions, manage cookie preferences, and choose what information to share with support.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Contact us to make a request. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where legally permitted or required. We cannot remotely access or delete records stored only on your device.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when our practices change and revise the effective date above. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request consent before introducing new uses of personal information.
